Token Utilities

The $COH token is a versatile utility token within the Crypts of Horus (CoH) universe, designed to enhance the gaming experience through various use cases. Here’s a detailed breakdown of its functionalities and benefits:

Overview

  • Utility Token: The $COH token is central to the CoH ecosystem, with its primary emission through leaderboard rewards and competitive or collaborative game modes.

  • Continuous Improvement: The CoH team, in partnership with Crypts of Horus PTY LTD, aims to continually enhance the token’s utilities to benefit the game and its players.

Minting Gaming NFTs

  • Core Component: $COH is essential for creating blockchain assets in CoH.

  • Access: Players primarily use $COH to mint gaming NFTs, with special events allowing token spending for minting.

  • Free-to-Play: Players can earn limited access to minting through in-game activities and leaderboard competitions.

  • Economy Balance: Holding rewards and minting rates will be managed to maintain a sustainable and enjoyable game economy.

Required for Crypt Transactions

  • Promotional Events: The Crypt will host events to rebalance NFT supply with exciting rewards and offers.

  • Activation: $COH tokens are necessary to activate the Crypt, with tokens accruing to the CoH team and 20% allocated for Active Staking rewards.

Buying and Selling Assets

  • Secondary Sales: Players can list and trade blockchain assets in $COH, with transactions requiring $COH.

  • Marketplace Fees: 20% of the marketplace fee must be paid in $COH and sent to a rewards pool.

  • Future Sales: $COH may also be used for future NFT primary sales.

  • User Experience: To simplify transactions, purchases can be completed in a single transaction, with $COH bought on the open market and transferred to the rewards pool on the buyer’s behalf.

Active Staking Rewards

  • Distribution: $COH tokens will be distributed to players as Active Staking rewards by Crypts of Horus PTY LTD.

  • Funding Sources:

    • In-App Purchases: 20% of net revenue from in-app purchases will be used to buy $COH for rewards.

    • Fees: 20% of royalty fees will be swapped for $COH for rewards.

    • Crypt: 20% of $COH used in the Crypt will go to rewards.

  • Participation: Players must stake their $COH tokens and actively participate in the game to earn rewards.

  • Program Details: Further details on the Active Staking rewards program will be announced later.

Governance and Voting

  • Future Plans: $COH token holders may be able to vote on token-related proposals via decentralised governance.

  • Proposal Topics: Topics may include token reserve allocation, developer grants, daily rewards, and token supply changes.

  • Proposal Requirements: A threshold of tokens will be needed to submit a proposal, as determined by the Foundation.
